Gregory A. Zerkel
President
Gregory A. Zerkel, CPL, is the President of Mason Dixon Energy, Inc. (“MDE”) and has been continuously active in the land business since 1980. Zerkel served as a Staff Landman with Delta Drilling Corporation in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania prior to establishing MDE in 1984. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics from Bridgewater College in Bridgewater, Virginia. Zerkel has also completed coursework for a Master’s Degree in Business Administration.
Zerkel is currently active on the national level with the American Association of Professional Landmen (“AAPL”). He is a past President and active member of the Michael Late Benedum Chapter of AAPL and a member of the Northern Appalachian Landman’s Association and the Appalachian Chapter of AAPL. Zerkel is also a member of the International Right of Way Association.
Asa M. Bowers, CPL
Vice President
Asa M. Bowers, CPL, is Vice President of Mason Dixon Energy, Inc. (“MDE”) and has twenty (20) years experience in land management. Prior to his employment with MDE, Bowers worked as a Staff Landman for Equitable Production Company and Statoil Energy, Inc. in Charleston, West Virginia and Eastern States Exploration Company in Snowshoe, Pennsylvania.
Bowers is an active member of the American Association of Professional Landmen (“AAPL”). He is a past President and active member of the Michael Late Benedum Chapter of AAPL and a member of the Northern Appalachian Landman’s Association and the Appalachian Chapter of AAPL. Bowers is also a member of the International Right of Way Association.
Ken Davis
Associate Vice President
Ken Davis, SR/WA has over forty (40) years experience as a land professional. Davis was employed for 25 years by CNG Development Company (“CNGD”) (now Dominion Exploration and Production Company), one of the largest fully integrated oil and gas companies in the United States. Prior to joining MDE, Davis also worked for fourteen (14) years as a Consultant, managing all land procurement aspects of various transportation, electric and gas transmission, and telecommunications projects. Davis holds a BS Degree in Business Management from Salem College, Salem, West Virginia.
Davis is an active member of the American Association of Professional Landmen (“AAPL”), as well as the Michael Late Benedum Chapter of AAPL. Davis also is an active member of the International Right of Way Association (“IRWA”), currently serving as International Vice President/Treasurer of this organization.
Aaron R. Yost
Project Manager
Aaron R. Yost began his career in the land business in 2001 as a field Landman, and has quickly moved up within the MDE organization. Yost has managed large scale lease acquisition projects throughout the Appalachian Basin, as well as the land aspects of several high profile drilling programs in complex areas. Yost holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology from West Virginia University, Morgantown, West Virginia.
Yost is an active member of the American Association of Professional Landmen (“AAPL”) and the Michael Late Benedum Chapter of AAPL.
Michael W. Beckett
Project Manager
Michael W. Beckett has almost thirty (30) years of land based project management experience in the oil and gas, pipeline and telecommunications industries. Prior to his employment with MDE, Beckett worked as a Senior Landman and Senior Right-of-Way Agent for Beckler Energy, Inc. and Northeastern Land Services, Inc. Beckett also served as National and International Director for Capital Land Services of Edmond, Oklahoma and Sydney and Melbourne Australia, and as Vice-President of Elkins Management Group and Altair, Inc. of Las Vegas, Nevada. Beckett earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management with an emphasis in Economics from Glenville State College, Glenville, West Virginia.
Beckett is an active member of the Michael Late Benedum Chapter of the American Association of Professional Landmen. |
